Before my baby turns ONE!

Tonight was hectic, and before I retire for the night, I will stay still for a minute, and savor this beautiful moment. Tomorrow, as my first born turns ONE YEAR OLD, our family will create precious memories together.

I am beyond excited!

Mommy: Where is Rocco Pogi?

My heart is overflowing with joy...it hurts..so good.

Last weekend, we had a lot of errands in preparation for our family who will be visiting Cebu for Rocco's birthday. We left early and brought Rocco along with us.

When we arrived home...
Yaya 1: Ate the house was so quiet today. It's so different without Rocco.
Me: Why, you miss him?
Yaya 1: Yes, we miss him!

I'm lucky to have them.

The girls went to the mall last Sunday for their dayoff. They just had their payday so when they arrived home, they had lots of loots. I was attending to Rocco in the 2nd floor so I did not mind them. After a while Hubby approached me.

Hubby: They have a gift for Rocco.
Me: Really? So touching naman.

Later that day, I went to their room to get a cloth diaper because Rocco pooped, and I saw a big box of bowling set. Of course I'm just assuming that it's their gift :)

Still, I'm touched.

Rocco is really our source of happiness. Our home is so alive because of him. Everyday I thank God for blessing us with our baby boy.

Happy Birthday Elise!

After attending Lexmark's Open House, we had some downtime at Chocolatier, then headed off to Soleil Elise's 1st Birthday Party! Rocco was asleep on our way to the party. Napagod ang bata kasi walang tulog the whole day. Buti nalang natulog kasi nakarecharge. When he woke up, full energy na naman at back to kalikutan. I had my stage mama moments when Rocco sat down with the other kids in the play area. Narealize ko lumalaki na ang anak ko. Parang kelan lang when he was still a very small baby who wants to be carried cradle style. Ngayon, he's growing up, and super duper active. Boy talaga!

Anyway, it was a fun party. There was a clown making animal and flower balloons, a photobooth where we made several rounds to have our pics taken, and we also enjoyed the yummy mango ice cream. Sadly by 7PM lowbat na ang Rocco. We had to excuse ourselves and left the party early.

PS. Wala pala akong nakuhang picture ng birthday girl :( Happy Birthday Elise! May you grow up to be a fine and beautiful lady!

A Peak inside Daddy's Work

I've never attended any Open House event that Lexmark hosted before, so it was a fitting timing that they had one this year because both Rocco and I finally had a chance to visit and take a peek inside Daddy's workplace.

I must say I was in awe of the technologies inside their facility. Spell E-X-P-E-N-S-I-V-E! It's world class and they're really doing serious stuff in there. It makes you love science and engineering. Parang gusto ko na ngang manuod ng National Geographic palagi para makarelate naman ako sa kanila.

On top of that, Rocco had fun because there were cool activities for kids. Sangkatutak na animal balloons na ang pinagawa namin kasi tuwang-tuwa ang bagets. After attending the Open House ay hindi pa natapos ang araw namin because we attended another birthday party in the evening.

Napaka active ng social calendar ng aking bagets! :)
